While his master is away, Woofy overhears the beginning of a sentence uttered by Anthony’s mother, who is on the telephone : “I’m sure you’re right. It must be good, especially for the children, to have a dog in the house”. Woofy closes the door and jumps up and down on the bed triumphantly : Finally, Mummy has changed her mind. Life will change! Anthony will be able to confess that Woofy is not a toy. Unfortunately, Woofy didn’t hear the end of the conversation :”… but for me it is out of the question.
