CHING asks MAN out for dinner, during which she needs MAN to fulfill his promise and break up with FA. MAN points out that he has no feeling for her and urges her not to take his so-called promise too seriously. Deeply upset by what MAN says, CHING walks away in a rage and in sheer disappointment. CHING gets so down that she goes to confide in YAN at her home.
